Best robotic cleaner and mop Mop and Vacuum Combos

Most robot vacuum-mop combos can be customized with an application that allows you to save the maps of your home as well as set cleaning schedules and select mopping modes. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrubbing action your mop uses.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate around rooms, while an obstacle avoidance function prevents it from running into wires, furniture, or even stray pet toys. These features are essential in my home, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and even lift its brushes or mop pads to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It also can avoid obstacles by looking for pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The robot vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum that mops vac we've tested. It also comes with PreciSense LiDAR Navigation that tracks its location, preventing it getting stuck on an object.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also has an automatic mop lifting system which lifts the pad when it transitions from tile to laminate, hardwood to carpet and rugs to avoid soaking these types of soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty before returning to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its usual mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to lose power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims, and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly complete and robust product, with the only drawback being the fact that it's pricey. The sheer amount of features makes it a very attractive option for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum when you can justify the cost.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. Its premium price tag is justified by its impressive features, which include an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mops. It also has a smart, app-enabled controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros which is one of the highest robotic vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it was able to perform very well in all areas of the home, removing 98.4% of debris on all types of floors and able to lift hair that is long without knots. The mops also performed admirably, achieving excellent cleaning results with less effort than mid-range models. This was due to their rotational movement as well as a strong dose cleaning solution.

The docking station is the real selling point of the L10S Ultra. It's multifunctional and advanced. The dock emptys its dust bin into dirt bag, fills its water tank for mopping and dry its mop pads for you. It also comes with a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions using its intelligent controls.

Unlike the other hybrid vacuum mops that I tried and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. The mops on the L10S Ultra are not as effective in removing tough stains as the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra’s high-end features, it still requires regular maintenance. The base station must be emptied, and the dustbag and water tanks should be cleaned, emptied and dried on a regular basis to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. The mop pads sold separately also require changing regularly.

Given the L10S Ultra's premium price tag and extensive functionality I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for Robot Mop it. If you're on a smaller budget, I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while enjoying hands-free cleaning at home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best automatic vacuum cleaner robot vacuum cleaner mop and vacuum you could purchase but its cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more a want than need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're in search of a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors, while taking care of wet mess look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts an enormous battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning and makes it stand out from models that require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is a departure from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller covers the entire width of the robot and is constantly supplied with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro then discharges the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The tank onboard holds a good amount of water, and it can manage about a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use out of the package as do other robotic vacuums/mops. It does need to be filled with clean water, but this is simple to do within the cleaning robot mop and vacuum dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option however, you'll be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the navigation efficiency and coverage tests, just like the majority of robots. It was fast to map a room, and it was able to navigate around furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very robust robot that is available at an affordable price.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level mop and vacuum cleaner, but it still has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag, and refills its water tanks, while washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system itself is capable of cleaning a large portion of a space before it has to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction does a nice job of removing debris and pet hair that accumulates on carpets.

The software that runs the appliance is extensive, and provides many options to customize the cleaning process. You can set it up manually to start an entire map and take care to clean everything that is that the device maps, or you can choose specific rooms, expandable zones or even a routine that you've set up. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It uses the sensors on the mops to map out the area and determine the most efficient method to clean it.

Like all Roborock models we've tested The Qrevo performs well in our tests. Its navigation system is efficient in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. Its 'Normal" pathing setting covers a room well, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard avoidance function works well too, but it is not as advanced as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect dangers such as thick carpets but may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.

This machine has one major issue: it doesn't include a mop option after vacuuming. This could be a problem for those who vacuum frequently prior to using their robot. There's a good solution: the app offers the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can use the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the dust and traces that were left behind after vacuuming. It's a nice touch, and it helps this robot make its clean better than its cheaper rivals.
