Path of Exile item upgrading (maps.Google.hr)

Item upgrading allows players to improve their weapons and equipment with new affixes that boost the base stats of the item or giving additional benefits. To upgrade an item, the player needs to have it in their inventory, as well as access to the kiln.

Items with weak bases, such as rings can be upgraded to a stronger base. Items with strong bases, such as Titans from eth, have no change in their stats.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to armors, weapons trinkets, weapons and gathering tools. They can be used as an attribute bonus, or extra effect, while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, found as loot by enemies, or obtained from chests and missions. Certain upgrades can also be equipped with special cosmetic effects. Most upgrades require that the equipment be at a certain level before you can upgrade.

To upgrade a weapon or piece of armor, the user must select it and then click on the upgrade item button on the toolbar. This will show a preview on the right side of the screen that shows what the expected upgrade stats will be as well as the required material or component needed to make that happen.

There are three types of upgrade components that are universal upgrades, prefix upgrades, and suffix upgrades. Universal upgrades, like gems, are able to be placed on any type of equipment. They offer a lower bonus than upgrade components that have a type limitation. Infusions are jewels that are only available in legendary and ascended equipment. They offer the same benefits as jewels, however they cannot be used in any other equipment. Suffix upgrades, which can be placed in gathering tools, will include their name at the end of the name of the item they are connected to, for example adding the word Glyph to a Staff Wrapping of Minor Item upgrading Vigor would change it to a Canthan Staff Wrapping of Minor Vigor.

In the case of upgrades to gather tools, if a player replaces one glyph with another the old glyph will be returned to the inventory. If you replace any other upgrade component with a glyph, it will be destroyed, with the exception for the inscriptions, which can be freely swapped.

Leveling

The upgrade system in Path of Exile has some significant variations from the previous versions. Gear is now categorized in tracks and each item is able to be upgraded as many times before it is "leveled out." The upgrade costs increase with each level, however the materials required do not. This allows players to focus their efforts on a handful of key items and maximize their impact rather than spreading out the upgrade costs across several items.

Once an item upgrader kit has been leveled out in this way, it is able to receive a new set of upgrade components, as well as an increase in the likelihood that the upgrade will succeed. This bonus is known as the Artisan’s Energy and it resets to 0 if an upgrade fails or increases when the upgrade succeeds.

Once a piece of gear is upgraded to its highest level, it will be able to be given affixes that boost its attributes. The number of affixes that are available will depend on the item's class. For example, a rare or unique weapon with a normal base will have only two affixes to choose from, whereas a legendary armor will have up to eight affixes for it.

Each upgrade process requires a certain number of Flightstones or Crests, based on the type of item at its current level, and in which slot it is placed in. Weapons will typically require more Flightstones than other equipment.

If an item doesn't reach its maximum level, Item upgrading the NPC grants players the option to transfer it to another character and then re-infuse it with a new set or upgrades. This process can take up to two hours, and costs the same amount of materials. However it has a lower chance of success.

Engineers will use a level in order to compare the height of the building against an established point, like the benchmark. This is referred to as a "level-loop." It involves taking readings using the backsight rod and level before turning the level and taking the foresight rod reading. This method guarantees that buildings are constructed to a high degree of precision and safety.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process of changing the upgrade components of an item. It is a crucial aspect of the game and can drastically improve an item's strength and damage as well as other characteristics. This can be done through the Best item upgrade menu or using the Reroll button on an upgraded item. Rerolling an item can be costly and should be handled with care.

Reroll tokens are derived by recycling upgraded items. These tokens can be used to upgrade either the original item or a similar item. Recyclable items have an indicator of level that indicates how much of the upgrade gauge has been filled. The cost and rarity of upgrading an item will determine the amount of level that has been filled.

Prior to this, certain upgrade items were given priority affixes which made them easier for players to roll. This meant that you would receive the stats that mattered most to your build often than other. This included stats like armor's total armour, thorns and the control impaired duration stats or the weapon's bonus attack speed and crit strike chance.

This changed with the recent patch. Priority affixes were removed, and all upgrades have the same chance of rolling each stat. This can be a good or a negative thing depending on your needs and expectations from your equipment.

Each upgraded item can come with a bonus that increases the item's power by a fixed percentage or flat value. These bonuses are added to normal affixes. The more you improve a product, the better your chance of obtaining a unique bonus.

The game also includes number set that grants the player a bonus if three or four upgraded items from the set are installed on an item. This is a great way to give an individual character more power without spending a ton of money.

Many players choose to reroll their gear and weapons, especially in the beginning of the game. This is because rerolling can provide a much faster path to a powerful character, allowing them to reach higher levels and advance in the game faster.

Sets

Sets are collections that can be organized differently. They can have various sizes, contain none at all, or have a single element. They can be used to organize data or sort information. They can also be used to analyze patterns. Sets can be classified in many ways in terms of size and shape.

The Legend of Zelda Tears of the Kingdom provides a wide range of upgradeable set items. Certain items are worth upgrading, while some are not. Upgrades are worthwhile for armor sets that offer high defense and set bonuses. However, weapon upgrades often do not boost the quality of the item upgrader's stats when in comparison to their counterparts in purple. This makes them less attractive to upgrade if you have many armor pieces or weapons.

Certain set items are upgraded to meet their own unique functions which can be beneficial in certain builds. This is evident in Aldur's Advance Boots and Guillaume's Face. Both were upgraded to Extraordinary Winged Helms and Exceptional Mirrored Boots, respectively. This increased their defense from 217 to 321. (Strength requirements and Level requirements were also increased).

Upgrades are also possible to bring certain items up to par with the different tiers. The Immortal King Set, for instance, comes with a wide range of levels ranging from 29 to 75. Upgrades to lower-level items of the set can increase their defense and increase their competitiveness in terms of damage.

Clicking the Upgrade button will display the item's attributes and the required items to upgrade it. It will show the item's features, as well as the necessary items required to upgrade it. For example the No-mouth Face will require 1.1K Scrap Materials and 250 Enchanted Dust and 5 Glowing Shards to upgrade. Players can also look up the upgrade requirements for specific items at the Cyrodiil Golden vendor or Leaderboard.

In general, weapons and armor are more valuable when they are updated. Particularly for weapons with damage glyphs that are spell-like or weapon-related upgrading them to gold is recommended as it will provide a significant improvement in their stats. This will also increase the defense value of armor with an updated look.
