World of Warcraft - Item Upgrading

The item upgrade lets players boost the gear rating of an item up to 700 points and add a final bonus. Items can be upgraded if they are in your inventory and you bring them to the kiln.

Certain items can be upgraded to increase their stats (like a perfectly rolled breakpoint armour used in melee PvP) while other items, such as weapons don't change much post upgrade, and therefore aren't worth upgrading.

Weapons
