Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule

The official list below shows reserved time periods not confirmed exams. Please check with your instructor whether or not the course will have its final exam during this time.

Be sure to read all the Goethe exam rules and guidelines on each exam's webpage prior to making a decision to register. Also, be sure to make sure you register at the correct exam level.

Locations

The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the exam pages for more details about exam topics, exam conditions and conditions, and additional guidelines. If you require special accommodations due to chronic illness, hearing or visual impairment, or any other disability, contact the exam provider and provide detailed documents when you register.

Faculty can view their exam times by using the "View My Teaching Schedule" task on the Faculty Dashboard in Workday. The Registrar's Office also has a list of exam times for those classes that must be tested under NYSED regulations. Final exams for classes that are held in the evenings are scheduled for the regular class time of the final exam weeks.

Registration

Students are advised to check the exam schedule online. It is important to note that the schedule for exams can change at any time. Students should therefore inquire with their instructors for the correct time and date of their exam. Students should be certain to print the official list and bring it for their exams.
